While working towards my Visual Communications Degree at UNI, I became fascinated with the short-lived CD-ROM magazines. It was the interaction that caught me. Here was graphic design that responded to a user, a sort of art in motion. I began to work with the Macromedia Director, and its scripting language is called Lingo, creating things that included both design and interactions.
Upon graduation, I first worked at Engineering Animation Inc., designing interfaces for educational titles and kids’ games. Following that I have worked at a handful of other places – Red 5 Interactive, Applied Art, Screenscape Studios, and most recently Brownells. At these places, I have had the opportunity to apply my skills to children’s games, educational titles, web calculators, banner ads, full websites, and occasionally print materials.
I am currently looking for a new place to contribute to. I would like to continue to design for a variety of end products, and am seeking a place with a diverse clientele and workforce. Should you like to discuss more, or see a formal resume please get in touch with me through my contact page.
