The Iowa Clinic had a large database-driven site, but some of the departments wanted a more specialized presence on the web. The minisites were created to fill that need. Built initially as a static site I worked with a programmer to create templates with portions of content fed from the main IC site helping to keep information consistent and production costs down. The design of the sites reflected the printed materials for each department to help give them a cohesive look.
